Tammy Palmer: A sharp clutch will inject a high dose of chic into any look. Choose a style that's soft and oversize or opt for something that's small and structured. The hot patterns for fall? Colour block, Ikat, dots, and floral prints were big hits on the runways. Solids in rich hues such as crimson, auburn and emerald work beautifully day and night especially tone-on-tone. Metallic gold or silver finishes will add a dash of luxe to graphic black or white looks or create interest with an embellished style replete with feathers, jewels or fur. Python and patent were also key looks this season, try a style with chain detailing or handles. Note this is a hands free season, so be sure to tuck any straps under your arms.
