Have a go-to makeup routine that you don't want to change up too much this season? Here are quick ways you can amp up your everyday look for the holiday version.

Your look: Lined eye

A nice graphic eye is a great way to make the eyes stand out. Why not try a blue coloured liner like the one seen at Anna Sui for a refreshing take on the look?

You'll need: CoverGirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner in Blue Bloom

Your look: Smoky eyes

You love the look so much that it takes you one minute to create the sultry look for a night out. But why not try unexpected shades to create a multitoned version like the one seen at Roberto Cavalli? Purples, greens and golds are all allowed. Use a metallic shade to highlight the inner rims of the eyes and use a high pigment hue to create high drama on your lids and blend until you get the smouldering look.

You'll need:Annabelle Tic-Tac-Trio Eyeshadow Palette

Your look: Subtle blush

Love adding a bit of colour to your cheeks? Why not try a brighter blush on the apples of the cheeks? The trick: keep the rest of your makeup super clean, we're talking just a bit of mascara and some lip balm to avoid going to clown territory.

You'll need: Nars Cream Blush in Cactus Flower

Your look: Regular blowouts

It's true: blowing your hair out can make you look super polished and feel like you're ready to conquer anything. But why not have some fun with your hair this season and try a cute front braid to keep your hair away from your face? Secure the hair with a bejeweled hairpin to complement your party dress.

You'll need: TreSemme Tres Two Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray
