AT HOME: Lunges are extremely effective for shapely, trim legs. Calves, thighs and glutes all benefit. Do 50 lunges up and down your hallway.
AT WORK: Don’t give in to the lure of the elevator. Take the stairs instead. And if your office is quite a way up, take the stairs for two or three flights, then hop on to the elevator.
AT PLAY: “Jump rope is awesome cardio that will tone your legs while you torch calories,” says Mandy Ingber, the L.A.-based creator of the Yogalosophy DVDs and fitness trainer to stars such as Kate Beckinsale and Jennifer Aniston. Pick up a cheap rope and skip for 15 to 20 minutes (you may need to start small and build up your time).
